AI is rapidly transforming education. Monash University recognises its potential to enhance learning and aims to develop an AI-mediated platform to bring this vision to life.

This team project was tasked with exploring AI's role in improving students' learning, enhancing their AI literacy, and creating a user-centric platform to elevate the learning experience.

* The project omitted user research due to time constraints.

  • We adjusted the primary colour and layout to reduce the overly professional look while preserving the confident aesthetic.

  • During this design iteration, we conducted usability testing and found the experience highly usable. However, there are minor areas for refinement to further enhance the user experience.

  • We incorporated bold lines and black section backgrounds throughout the design to create a unique visual identity and maintain consistency.

  • Additionally, we updated the typeface and refined the prototype interactions to align with the new style and enhance the platform's unique visual identity.

The project received positive feedback from the lecturer and relevant Monash staff, the project's client, for its clear concept, unique UI, prototype interactions, and presentation.

As a result, it has been selected for a second showcase to Monash’s Student Academic Success team to share ideas and insights on learning and teaching with AI.

It’s been an amazing journey working on this three-month project with my teammates, Yusun, Vivian, and Nupur, with valuable coaching and support from the lecturers. I’ve learned a lot about UX/UI skills and greatly improved my project facilitation abilities.

While I wish we had more time to conduct deeper UX research and validate our target users’ assumptions, I’m grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with such talented people and gain so much from the experience.

It’s been an amazing journey working on this three-month project with my teammates, Yusun, Vivian, and Nupur, with valuable coaching and support from the lecturers. I’ve learned a lot about UX/UI skills and greatly improved my project facilitation abilities.
